George Virban, born in Tulcea, Romania, is a rising lyric tenor praised for his refined, vibrant voice and compelling stage presence.
A graduate of the National University of Music in Bucharest, he made his international debut in 2016 and has since performed widely across Europe, earning numerous awards.
Recent engagements include roles at the Aalto Theater in Essen, a cover at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and upcoming debuts in South Korea, Tel Aviv, Shanghai, and Munich.
